BACHARA NAMED JACKSONVILLE’S CONSTRUCTION LAWYER OF THE YEAR
Jacksonville, Fla., Aug. 15, 2018 – The team at Bachara Construction Law Group is pleased to announce that founding partner Chip Bachara has been recognized by his peers as Jacksonville’s “Construction Lawyer of the Year” in the 2019 edition of Best Lawyers in America®. The guide also names Bachara as one of America’s best lawyers for both Construction Law and Construction Litigation.
The preeminent referral guide to lawyers in the U.S., Best Lawyers compiles its outstanding attorney list by conducting comprehensive national and regional practice-area-based peer-review surveys. Bachara has been recognized for excellence by his peers through Best Lawyers since 2009, including previous designations as “Construction Lawyer of the Year” in 2012 and 2017.

Bachara, who earned his J.D. from the Mercer University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in building construction from the University of Florida, is Board Certified in Construction Law and has been AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell since 1991. Chair of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission from 2012-14, he has served on the commission since 2011 and was recently reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott for a term ending July 1, 2022. He serves as an arbitrator and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified mediator.
