Bachara Construction Law Group’s managing partner, Chip Bachara, has been recognized by Best Lawyers as Jacksonville’s 2021 “Lawyer of the Year” for Construction Law. The designation – based on exceptionally high peer reviews for ability, professionalism, and integrity – is given to only one lawyer in each practice area and metropolitan area each year.
Bachara has also been included in the 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for both construction law and construction litigation. It is his 11th year of recognition by Best Lawyers, which is widely regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence.
Best Lawyers is based entirely on peer review by lawyers in the same geographic region and practice areas. Lawyers on the list are divided by geographic region and practice areas, reviewed by their peers, and undergo an authentication process to make sure they are in current practice and in good standing.
AV-Preeminent-rated by Martindale Hubbell, Bachara has also received other recognition from his peers this year. He was re-named to both the Florida Super Lawyers list and Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, and honored by the Jacksonville Business Journal as a 2020 “Best of the Bar” Ultimate Attorney. (He was previously honored in the inaugural class of Ultimate Attorneys in 2016.)
Bachara earned his J.D. from the Mercer University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida. Board certified in Construction Law, he is a member of The Florida Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Florida First Coast Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors.
