The Bachara Construction Law Group team recently welcomed Chris Bracken as the firm’s newest attorney. A former prosecutor, Bracken is an experienced litigator who also brings significant knowledge of real estate and development to his practice.
“We are happy to welcome Chris Bracken to the BCLG team,” said Chip Bachara, the firm’s managing partner. “His litigation experience will be a strong asset for our clients, and his knowledge of real estate and development will be particularly helpful in the current climate.”
Also a licensed Realtor®, Bracken practiced residential and commercial real estate law in the real estate and business law department of a respected local firm immediately prior to joining BCLG. Before that, he worked for six years as an Assistant State Attorney in the Felony Division for Florida’s 4th Judicial Circuit, where he handled a large criminal caseload and tried over 30 jury trials to verdict. In addition, he sold real estate for several years before practicing real estate law.
Bracken earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida and his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, where he obtained a Certificate in Legal Writing and won two Book Awards. He also completed prosecutor training on Computer Forensics in Court from the National Computer Forensics Institute.
A member in good standing of The Florida Bar, Bracken is a member of The Bar’s Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section (RPPTL) as well as the Jacksonville Bar Association and the Robert M. Foster American Inn of Court. The longtime Jacksonville resident is also a graduate of The Bolles School.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Bachara Group,” said Bracken. “I have the utmost respect for Chip and the team, and look forward to vigorously representing our clients.”
