Bachara Construction Law Group defended Summit Smith, Inc. and its affiliated entities in a suit brought by Baker County Medical Center for the alleged negligent design, construction and manufacturing of an HVAC system. Following two years of discovery, the parties attempted to resolve the case without success. In a three week bench trial in federal court in the Middle District of Florida, the court determined that Summit Smith and its related entities were not liable and that there was nothing wrong with either the design or the HVAC system itself.
